Parts Sales Coordinator

Under the guidance of the Part Sales Supervisor, the Part Sales Coordinator will join our Parts Sales team on a 6 month secondment at our Guildford, Parts Distribution Centre. In this pivotal customer-facing and phone-based role, you'll adeptly locate and identify machine parts, providing cost-effective solutions for swift delivery. Additionally, meticulous attention will be given to processing all parts orders and inquiries promptly and accurately.

 

Department Overview: Parts Distribution Centre - Guildford

 

Roster – 5 Days, 8 Hrs/Day

 

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver high-quality, customer-focussed service by responding to phone and in-person enquiries, ensuring a positive and seamless
  • Accurately identify and source machine parts, providing cost-effective solutions and coordinating timely delivery to meet customer needs
  • Process parts orders and enquiries promptly, maintaining attention to detail across systems such as inventory management and warehouse platforms
  • Resolve customer issues and conflicts effectively while pro-actively supporting sales outcomes through problem-solving, negotiation and collaboration with internal teams.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Customer service and sales experience within automotive or heavy industry.
  • Parts identification experience or exposure to the automotive, mining or heavy equipment industries and ability to recommend practical and cost-effective solutions
  • Manage challenging customer situations calmly, applying a solution-focussed mindset to resolve issues quickly and professionally
  • Strong administrative and system proficiency – with a high attention to detail, solid computer skills across MF Office, inventory management and warehouse systems.
