Inventory Purchasing Coordinator

WesTrac is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to joins us at the Parts Distribution Centre in South Guildford on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Inventory Supervisor, the successful candidate will help maintain the supply of inventory to WesTrac distribution stores and branches across Western Australia, manage supplier relationships, purchase inventory, process supplier invoices, and assist with reporting and data extraction.

 

Additional responsibilities will include general administrative tasks, timely customer service through phone, email, and helpdesk support, monitor inventory levels, and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth inventory management.

 

Roster:  Mon – Fri, 40 hour week

Location: South Guildford, WA

 

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain the supply of inventory to WesTrac distribution stores and branches across Western Australia
  • Manage supplier relationships and purchase inventory
  • Process supplier invoices and assist with reporting and data extraction
  • Provide timely customer service through phone, email, and helpdesk support
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth inventory management

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a purchasing or customer service role
  • High attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Experience with SAP, or previous experience with other accounting software favourable
  • Strong organisational, time management, and planning skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities
