Equipment Pricing Officer

Reporting into Pricing and Quotation Supervisor, the Equipment Pricing Officer will join our Pricing Department on a Full-time basis at our Guildford location. This role involves developing accurate service pricing for Mining and Construction Rebuilds, Customer Support Agreements (CSA’s), Life Cycle Costs (LCC’s) and general service pricing within our Western Australia business units.

 

Roster: Monday – Friday 8.5 hours a day (including meal break) – Flexible start and finish time

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Respond to helpdesk pricing requests/queries on time for relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop accurate and comprehensive service pricing solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Research, validate, and update service pricing using Caterpillar’s information. Maintain regular correspondence with Caterpillar and escalate inquiries through dealer portals.
  • Create detailed budget, regional, and local equipment life cycle cost (LCC) pricing files for new and aftermarket equipment.
  • Analyse historical data to determine competitive labour hours and parts pricing.

Skills & Experience:

  • Trade Qualified in mobile plant maintenance or equivalent, with expertise in component, parts, and service maintenance and related cost management
  • Ability to handle challenging situations and meeting tight dead lines  
  • Background in the automotive or mining industry (desired)
  • Intermediate computer skills including but not limited to MS office, inventory management and warehousing systems
  • Ability to be solutions focused with demonstrated and proactive problem-solving
