Demand Analyst
Guildford PDC, WA, AU
Reporting into the Planning and Scheduling Manager, the Demand Analyst will join our Planning Team on a 12-Month fixed team basis at our Guildford Branch. This role involves being responsible for assessing future demand signals for the Component Rebuild Centres (CRC) within Product Support and consolidating these insights to inform strategic planning and decision-making. Their recommendations support efficiency improvements, enhance customer satisfaction, and position WesTrac to secure additional work.
Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)
What You’ll Do:
- Analyse planned and unplanned demand to determine labour requirements
- Identify market trends and variances to improve forecast accuracy
- Provide recommendations that support strategic planning and decision-making
- Maintain a cross‑functional demand tracking tool with inputs from all business units
- Build strong relationships across teams to ensure accurate data for central planning
- Ensure all planning and scheduling standards, procedures and systems are followed
Skills & Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or 5+ years’ analytical experience in maintenance planning/demand forecasting or equivalent experience
- Strong forecasting, planning and analytical skills
- Intermediate Excel capability.
- Intermediate capabilities in MS Project, Smartsheet, Primavera or similar planning system.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
- Intermediate understanding of financial principles (e.g. budgeting, forecasting)
- Experience with aspects of process improvement and change management
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Flexible in approach and ability to thrive in an environment with a constantly evolving scope of work
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to effectively resolve issues in the workplace.
- Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and priorities to meet objectives
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
