Customer Support Manager

Reporting into Mining Business Manager, the Customer Support Manager will join our Mining Sales and Operations team on a Full-time basis at our Guildford Branch. This role involves being responsible for executing the aftermarket sales strategy for the designated customer group, with the goal of maximizing sales and service growth.

 

Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and influence sales opportunities with customers.
  • Help develop and execute the sales strategy for your customer group.
  • Manage fleet performance and improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
  • Prepare and deliver proposals.
  • Handle commercial negotiations for aftermarket services.
  • Plan, forecast, and manage inventory using internal systems
  • Use data to manage sales opportunities.
  • Work on projects to improve site performance.
  • Provide product support and manage product issues.
  • Manage warranty process for customer base.
  • Support other team members when on leave etc.
  • Support of Parts and Service budget for customer base

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Trade Qualification or strong understanding of mining machinery components
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Understanding of Heavy Mining Equipment ‘Total Cost of Ownership’ modelling.
  • Proven communication, relationship development & negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated individual that can demonstrate the ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously.
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines.
