Continuous Improvement Advisor

Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, the Continuous Improvement Advisor is accountable for the deployment of WesTrac’s Continuous Improvement Program and development of Lean manufacturing practices in our business as well as lead & coach the various team leaders and managers to implement the CI program consistently across the business.
In addition, the CIA will manage the CI system to ensure that the information and reporting within it is accurate and that the initiatives and the value they deliver can be tracked through the PDCA methodology and continually improve the system to meet business requirements
The Continuous Improvement Advisor will be expected to make recommendations to relevant business unit leaders and CI Champions from which business decisions can be made.
Location: Guildford PDC
Roster: 5 Days 2 Off 8.5hrs (Monday to Friday)
To be successful the following is required:
- Lean Manufacturing certificates or 6 Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience in managing improvement programs in Manufacturing/Mining/FMCG/Services
- Demonstrated ability in successfully plan & coordinate schedules, reports and production of quality project documentation
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of business process fundamentals.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Excellent demonstrated communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships with all stakeholders of various levels
- Demonstrated experience in the identification of and actioning of improvement initiatives
- Experience conducting internal audits
