Reporting to the Aftermarket Manager, the Business Analyst will provide business analytics, data collation (internal & external), recommendations, and process improvements across the business unit. The role focuses on growth initiatives through gap analysis to identify improvement opportunities by conducting thorough analysis on aftermarket parts and services sales & opportunity, sales funnel management, prime & aftermarket product performance, and support new product introduction and Product management functions. Additionally, the analyst will integrate Parts Loyalty & Support Programs within the Mining Division and assist in analysing product quality defects, including fleet impact and financial modelling, to support proactive decision-making.

 

Location: Guildford PDC

Roster: Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day (Permanent, Full-Time)

 

To be successful the following is required: 

 

  • Tertiary Qualification in Business Analytics, Data Science, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar-sized enterprise, with a strong background in business analytics, process improvement, and project management.
  • Experience with integrating complex programs to deliver customer value.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial modelling, particularly in assessing cost versus reward scenarios.
  • Experience with Power Apps including Power BI, Power Automate, Power Forms and Smartsheet.
  • Familiarity with analysing gaps to identify opportunities and initiating strategy projects.
  • Strong skills in external market analytics and data modelling supporting Prime Product & Aftermarket Solutions. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
