WesTrac is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Mining Account Manager to manage a portfolio of key mining customers across Western Australia.

Reporting to the Mining Business Manager and based in Guildford, you'll be responsible for developing strategic customer relationships, driving capital equipment opportunities, and identifying long-term growth across aftermarket, technology and service solutions.

This is a high-impact role suited to someone who understands complex mining environments, can navigate executive-level stakeholder relationships, and has a proven track record managing high-value commercial opportunities.

 

Department Overview: Sales and Operation - Providing strategic equipment, technology and service solutions to Major Mining Accounts throughout Western Australia.

 

Roster – 5 Days, 8.5 Hrs/Day

 

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned to customer business objectives, fleet requirements and long-term growth opportunities.
  • Drive capital equipment sales while expanding opportunities across service, technology and aftermarket solutions.
  • Build trusted relationships with key operational and executive stakeholders within major mining organisations.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations, tenders and contract discussions, delivering sustainable business outcomes.
  • Collaborate across WesTrac teams to deliver integrated solutions while achieving revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction targets.

 

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven success managing major customer accounts within mining, heavy equipment, resources or industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, high-value sales engagements, commercial negotiations and long-term account strategies.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities and influence customer business outcomes.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with experience engaging and influencing executive and operational stakeholders within large organisations.
  • A strategic, customer-focused approach to account management, coupled with strong communication skills and the ability to travel throughout Western Australia as required.
