New Machines Supervisor FIFO

 

The Fleet Delivery Supervisor is responsible in leading the Fleet Delivery execution team by providing guidance to team members ensuring safety, quality and efficiency are of the highest standard resulting in high customer satisfaction. The role is accountable for the ownership of the customer experience by ensuring high compliance to plan and quality new machine deliveries to achieve targets of productivity to Caterpillar, Customer and to Westrac requirements. This is managed by demonstrating effective leadership with the entire Fleet delivery team, across all aspects of safety, training, coaching and task allocation including Westrac trades, non-tradespersons and contractors.  

Roster 8/6 working 12 hr days FIFO from Perth

 

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Demonstrate visible safety leadership to promote a safe, enjoyable and productive culture
  • detailed Prestart to ensure individuals attend, receiving relevant company information and safety shares
  • Ensure success is shared as part of these interactions either by the team or business as appropriate
  • Clear Task Allocation to teams for planned tasks is required so they understand what is required to be completed each shift.
  • As escalated, engage in Risk Assessment activities (JHA sign-off).
  • Machine reporting data is accurate at all times including updated gantt charts/smart sheets
  • Team members have documented and clear KPI’s that are regularly reviewed and reports upon


ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Mechanical Trade qualification (Essential)
  • Relevant experience of leading a team in a similar industry (OEM HIGHLY DESIREABLE)
  • Advanced communication and engagement skills with the ability to issue clear directives in a high-risk working environment
  • Experience in the heavy machine industry with exposure to a similar safety culture including working in high risk environments
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety
  • Proven leadership experience with demonstrated ability to manage a high performing team
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships
  • Experience working in a dynamic work environment and demonstrate the ability to juggle conflicting priorities
  • Emphasis on Continuous Improvement and problem-solving skills
