Learning and Development Manager

Reporting into the Head of Learning and Development, the Learning and Development Manager will join our People & Culture division on a permanent, full-time basis at our South Guildford Office.


This role leads the development of individual, team, and organisational capability to drive current performance and future competitiveness.

 

It oversees a best practice learning framework that equips team members with the skills and qualifications needed to deliver effective solutions, while embedding a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

 

Roster: Monday to Friday, 8.5 hours per day (including meal break)

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, develop and maintain an effective and sustainable learning and development strategy and framework focused on current and future organisational needs
  • Ensure the framework equips team members with the necessary skills, training, and development to meet industry and compliance standards
  • Investigate and recommend digital learning technologies to enhance the learning ecosystem
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to enhance performance and cohesion
  • Advise senior stakeholders on L&D trends, best practices, and strategic capability building

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, with significant time in Learning & Development
  • Proven success in designing, delivering, and evaluating impactful learning strategies and programs
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, and digital learning technologies
  • Experience with LMS (SuccessFactors or other platforms) to manage and evaluate learning outcomes
  • Experience with company-wide competency frameworks (knowledge of Korn Ferry systems desirable)
  • Demonstrated leadership in team development, cultural strategy, and project delivery
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
