Internal Communications Advisor

Reporting into Communications Team Lead, the Internal Communications Advisor will join our team on a 12-month fixed-term basis at our Guildford Branch. This role involves creating compelling internal and external communications that inspire, influence, and engage our team members while enhancing our brand reputation.

 

Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Craft compelling communication messages that resonate with our audience and reflect our brand
  • Shape and deliver strategic communications that drive engagement and support key business goals
  • Develop communication plans, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address communication needs and maintain a consistent narrative across all channels
  • Optimise communication channels and explore opportunities for external content sharing
  • Partner with external suppliers and agencies to deliver high-quality work within budget and brand guidelines
  • Provide expertise and support for internal events, keeping our workforce informed and engaged

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong background in internal communications with minimum five years experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or Communications; or significant industry experience
  • Demonstrated ability to create content across various platforms
  • Excellent interview and writing skills
  • Attention to detail for consistent, professional communications
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and negotiation abilities
  • Strong time management and issue resolution skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving prowess
  • Adherence to deadlines and targets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, SharePoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (desirable)
