Join WesTrac’s Hydraulics team and take your skills to the next level!
As an HVOF Operator, you’ll be hands-on with advanced chrome plating technology, working on Cat® hydraulic components in a safety-first, high-performance workshop. This full-time role is based in South Guildford.

Roster: 8 On, 6 Off - days/nights - 12 hrs/day

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate the HVOF Machine to chrome plate hydraulic rods
  • Operate Cylindrical Grinders to remove old chrome
  • Operate Polishing lathes to ensure a precision finish
  • Collaborate with Workshop Supervisors to meet quality standards
  • Maintain strict safety and process compliance

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in HVOF operation, chrome plating, or cylindrical grinding
  • Experience around lathes highly desirable 
  • Mechanical Trade Assistant background preferred
  • Safety-first mindset and strong communication skills
  • High Risk Licences – Dogging & Forklift
  • Familiarity with JSA and Take 5 risk tools
