HVOF Operator / Component Tech / Cylindrical Grinder

Working closely with the Workshop Supervisors, the Cylindrical Grinder uses the HVOF Machine to chrome plate cylindrical rods which are used in Hydraulic Cylinders.

 

Location: South Guildford

Roster: 5/2 - 2 weeks days, 2 weeks Nights shift – 10 Hours

 

To be successful the following is required: 

  • Proven experience in HVOF Operation, Chrome Plating and Cylindrical Grinding
  • High Risk Licence – Dogging & Forklift
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Trade Assistant
  • Good attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous use of safety and risk assessment tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's will guide you to success in this role
