Facility and Toolstore Coordinator

Reporting to the Technical Training Manager, the Facility & Toolstore Coordinator is the heartbeat of our Learning & Development workshops and toolstores. This is a hands on, high impact role where you’ll ensure our training environments are safe, well maintained and fully equipped to support the next generation of skilled workers.

 

Location:  South Guildford

Roster:  Mon-Fri 8.5 hours per day (including lunch break)

 

 

What You will do:

 

No two days are the same. In this role, you will:

 

  • Be the go-to person for our training workshop and tool store facility
  • Play a vital role in delivering a professional, high standard training environment
  • Plan and coordinate tooling, equipment and consumables to support seamless training delivery
  • Ensure all tooling is serviced, calibrated, compliant and ready to go
  • Work closely with trainers, learners and external vendors to keep everything running smoothly
  • Oversee safety, QA and chemical control requirements, including audits and improvements
  • Manage ordering and facility spend with confidence and accountability
  • Manage repairs, faults and maintenance of our facilities through internal systems
  • Repair and maintain training aids, these include engines, machines, and simulators.

You’re practical, reliable and thrive in a technical support environment. Ideally, you’ll have:

 

  • A safety first mindset with strong initiative and problem solving skills
  • Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical or a strong interest in mechanical repairs
  • experience in a workshop, toolstore, technical support role, mobile equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of tooling, equipment and calibration requirements
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and maintenance/finance systems
  • Clear communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • The ability to juggle priorities and work autonomously when required
  • Excellent Team skills, with the ability to navigate challenges professionally
