Reporting into Technology Training Manager, the Facilities Coordinator will join our team on a Full-Time basis at our Collie Training Centre. This position is focused on the day-to-day coordination of the site and contractor management to deliver ongoing repairs, maintenance, and improvements. You’ll be the main point of contact for all facilities-related activity - from scheduling preventative maintenance and coordinating service providers to ensuring compliance, safety, and operational readiness across the site.

Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)

 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive facility maintenance and lifecycle plan, including scheduled and preventative works.
  • Coordinate and manage contractors for site services, repairs, inspections, and upgrades, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to standard.
  • Oversee site operations including security, parking, kitchen and amenities, waste services, and infrastructure upkeep.
  • Plan and schedule site activities, liaising between internal teams, customers, and service providers to minimise disruption and maximise facility utilisation.

Support the planning and delivery of events, training activities, and site projects that enhance the user experience

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in facilities coordination, contractor management, scheduling, or maintenance planning.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to manage internal and external relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g. MS Project).
  • Working knowledge of HSEQ Management Systems, ISO standards, and relevant State legislation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • (Desirable) Trade qualification, mechanical aptitude, or knowledge of mobile equipment.
  • (Desirable) Safety or mining industry qualification.
