Reporting into the Workshop Supervisor, the Crane Operator will join our New Machines Team on a Full-Time basis at our Guildford site. This role involves Crane Operations with Mobile Heavy Equipment in the yard.

 

The New Machines Department at WesTrac specializes in providing cutting-edge machinery solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the mining industry. Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative, reliable, and efficient Caterpillar equipment to enhance operational productivity and safety.

 

Roster: Monday to Friday. 10.5 hours (including a meal break)

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Ensure the safe operation of cranes to lift, move and position heavy equipment and materials in the yard
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on cranes and other heavy equipment
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures

 

 Skills & Experience: 

  • CN Crane License as a minimum
  • EWP ticket
  • Rigger intermediate ticket
  • Current white card
  • Good Communication, Organisational & Interpersonal skills
  • A dedicated attitude to safety and quality
  • Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
