Reporting to the Facilities Maintenance Manager, the Contractor Coordinator will join our Facilities team on a Part-Time Fixed Term Contract until 14th June 2027, in South Guildford. This role involves coordinating contractors and vendors across WesTrac sites, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, on time and within budget while supporting asset performance and compliance outcomes.

 

Department Overview: WA Facilities and Assets – Maintenance Department – Located in South Guildford

 

Roster – Week 1: Monday Tuesday  Week 2: Tuesday Thursday and Friday – 8.5H /Day (inc meal break)

 

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate contractors and vendors to deliver planned maintenance safely and on schedule
  • Manage reactive maintenance requests and allocate work to appropriate service providers
  • Monitor asset performance and recommend maintenance and reliability improvements
  • Ensure contractor compliance with site procedures, safety standards and policies
  • Develop scopes of work and coordinate maintenance activities within budget targets
  • Maintain accurate asset data, maintenance records and preventative maintenance schedules

 

 Skills & Experience:

  • Proven ability to coordinate contractors and vendors across multiple maintenance activities
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Asset maintenance knowledge with practical fault-finding and problem-solving capability
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with internal teams and external service providers
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail, asset data management and reporting skills
