Communications Coordinator

We’re on the hunt for a creative, organised, and proactive Communications Coordinator to join our team.
In this role you will support our Internal Communications team, playing a hands-on role in internal communications campaigns, content, events, digital channels, and admin support.
Each day will be different as could be working on anything from raising purchase orders, designing posters, through to organising wellbeing events and writing engaging stories about our people!
Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5-hours per day (including meal breaks)
Location: South Guildford, WA
What you’ll do:
- Internal communication: Deliver key messages through engaging and creative content.
- Intranet Content Management: Create and update SharePoint intranet pages.
- Graphic Design Support: Use templates to design internal comms and campaign materials.
- Communications Administration: Assist with reporting, content planning, and maintaining digital files and financial records.
- Task Management: Prioritise and respond to requests from the comms board and inbox.
- Social Media Engagement: Help develop content for social media with the Comms and Marketing teams.
- Event Support: Coordinate event logistics, including purchase orders and vendor payments.
Skills and Experience:
- Marketing or Communications qualification or working towards relevant qualification.
- Previous professional experience in an administrative and/or communications role.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) with strong creative skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with keen attention to detail
- Intermediate proficiency in computer literacy, including the full MS Office Suite (SharePoint, PowerPoint and Teams)
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and planning abilities, capable of managing workload and prioritising tasks efficiently
