Are you detail-oriented and wanting to join a dynamic team? We are seeking a Claims Analyst on a 12-month fixed term basis.

 

Manage the end-to-end CAT claims discounting process. This includes analysing CAT merchandising programs, setting up discounts, and preparing and submitting claims to Caterpillar (CAT) in accordance with CAT Guidelines and WesTrac policies and procedures.

  

Location:  South Guildford, WA

Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5-hour days with flexible start / finish times available

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyse CAT discount programs for accuracy and set up the discount programs in the claims automation system and SCQ (where applicable).
  • Set up discounts in DBS for point of sale discount programs.
  • Analyse claims data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare participatory discount claims, customer loyalty claims, and other parts dedicated programs or one-off claims, and submit the claims using the Caterpillar Product Support Commercial System.
  • Process financial accounting journals in SAP for all claims and post sales credit notes.

 

To be successful the following is required: 

  • Advanced computer literacy skills – MS Office (specifically Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
  • Highly developed attention to detail and ability to understand complex customer incentive programs
  • Advanced time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet objectives
  • Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously

 

Desirable:

  • Certificate or Diploma in accounting/finance or business.
  • Experience in a similar Finance or Claims Analyst role involving customer incentive programs
  • Prior experience using SAP
