Reporting to the Contracts Manager, our Procurement team is looking for an experienced Category Specialist to lead key initiatives and enhance performance. This role is pivotal in achieving outstanding commercial outcomes and boosting efficiency in high-volume procurement.
Location: South Guildford, WA
Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5-hour days
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain a strategic industry overview.
- Work closely with our supply partners to monitor and review contract KPIs.
- Lead the development of strategic planning as we look to transform the category.
- Ensure contract compliance.
- Evaluate vendor performance.

Skills & Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Category Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience in industries such as mining, construction, forestry, infrastructure assets, manufacturing, or engineering.
- Proven contract lifecycle management experience.
- Understanding of advanced sourcing concepts.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work in team and autonomously.
- Exposure to SAP ARIBA or similar ERP.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
