Business Improvement Advisor
Guildford, WA, AU
As a Business Improvement Adviser, you'll report to the Operations Area Manager – SE&I and lead continuous improvement initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders. Using Lean principles, you'll ensure the effective identification, documentation, and implementation of process improvement projects.
Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours per day (including unpaid meal breaks)
Location: South Guildford, WA
What you’ll do:
- Lead by example and live our values
- Support CI initiatives and coach frontline teams
- Manage improvement projects and drive outcomes
- Perform root cause analysis and solve operational challenges
- Collaborate on best practices and communicate progress
- Build strong relationships across the business
Skills and Experience:
- Solid understanding of business processes and operational fundamentals
- Proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels—from workshop floor to senior leadership
- Clear, confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Strong computer literacy—especially with Microsoft Office and web-based tools
- Exposure to Lean, CI, and process improvement methodologies
- Hands-on experience identifying and implementing improvement initiatives
Previous experience we find successful in the role:
- Trade-qualified or experience in a Trade Assistant, Leading Hand, or Supervisor role
- Prior experience in Business Improvement or Project Management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical mindset
- Operational experience in a fast-paced environment—ideally with exposure to CI tools and systems
