Business Improvement Advisor

As a Business Improvement Adviser, you'll report to the Operations Area Manager – SE&I and lead continuous improvement initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders. Using Lean principles, you'll ensure the effective identification, documentation, and implementation of process improvement projects.

 

 

Roster:  Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours per day (including unpaid meal breaks)

Location: South Guildford, WA

 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead by example and live our values
  • Support CI initiatives and coach frontline teams
  • Manage improvement projects and drive outcomes
  • Perform root cause analysis and solve operational challenges
  • Collaborate on best practices and communicate progress
  • Build strong relationships across the business

 

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Solid understanding of business processes and operational fundamentals
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels—from workshop floor to senior leadership
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Strong computer literacy—especially with Microsoft Office and web-based tools
  • Exposure to Lean, CI, and process improvement methodologies
  • Hands-on experience identifying and implementing improvement initiatives

 

Previous experience we find successful in the role:

  • Trade-qualified or experience in a Trade Assistant, Leading Hand, or Supervisor role
  • Prior experience in Business Improvement or Project Management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical mindset
  • Operational experience in a fast-paced environment—ideally with exposure to CI tools and systems
