Business Development Specialist

As a key member of our team, reporting to the Laboratory Operations Manager, the Business Development Specialist will play a crucial role in driving Laboratory sales. This position focuses on actively acquiring new customers while nurturing and engaging our existing clientele.

 

In collaboration with the Product Support Manager, you will ensure seamless support for our current customers and facilitate efficient and effective onboarding for new clients. This includes frequent site visits to our metro & regional customers.

 

Location:  South Guildford, WA

Roster: 5/2 8hrs

 

To be successful the following is required: 

  • Previous experience in a Sales role, preferably in the Used Oil Analysis industry or Construction/Mining Equipment industries.
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines.
  • High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse data and compile reports.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Sound communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

 

Desirable:

  • Trade Certificate post trade experience in a relevant field.
  • Tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g. Commercial, Marketing or Business disciplines).
  • Previous experience within an Account Management role or Customer Support role.
  • Knowledge of Construction and Mining Equipment or related industries.
