Boilermaker Welder - Hydraulics

Reporting into the Workshop Supervisor, the Boilermaker Welder will join our Hydraulics team on a Full Time basis at our South Guildford workshop. This role involves involves ID welding Eye Bores on hydraulics, rods and barrels, sub-arc welding of re-rods and re-tubes, and general welding to repair cracks on hydraulic cylinder castings, transport stand repairs, etc. This role is heavily safety-focused and requires exceptional attention to detail.

Department Overview: The Hydraulics Department specialises in the maintenance and repair of hydraulic components, utilising advanced machining techniques. The team is dedicated to safety, precision, and continuous improvement in a supportive and collaborative setting.

 

Roster: 8 On, 6 Off - Days & Nights, 12.5 hours/day (including meal break)

 

What You’ll Do:

  • ID welding Eye Bores on hydraulics, rods, and barrels
  • Sub-arc welding of re-rods and re-tubes
  • General welding to repair cracks on hydraulic cylinder castings
  • Transport stand repairs

 

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Boilermaker/Welder Trade Qualification
  • High Risk Work License - Dogging or willing to obtain
  • Experience with Hydraulic component repairs (Desired)
  • ID Welding and SubArc Welding experience
  • Dedication to safety
