Are you passionate about mentoring and developing the next generation of skilled technicians? WesTrac’s renowned Institute is looking for a dynamic Apprentice Trainer to join our Learning and Development team!

 

In this hands-on position, you'll be at the forefront of apprentice training, ensuring it meets the highest standards and aligns with WesTrac’s Core Values.

 

Roster: This role is open to full-time, part-time and casual candidates

Location: South Guildford, WA

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver engaging and effective training to apprentices
  • Ensure training meets RTO (50737) compliance standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients
  • Manage training administration and documentation

 

Skills & Experience:

  • A qualification in Mobile Plant or Heavy/Commercial Vehicle Technology is essential
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or TAE40122 is highly desirable (WesTrac can support you in obtaining this)
  • Experienced technician ready to transition into a mentoring Trainer role
  • Passion for learning and helping individuals reach their full potential
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
  • Basic Microsoft Suite skills
  • Exposure to and knowledge of Caterpillar equipment (desirable)
