Accounts Receivable Officer

Reporting to the Credit Supervisor, this Accounts Receivable Officer will join our Credit team on a 7-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave, based at our Guildford location.

This role is responsible for day-to-day cash application and reconciliations across the Credit & AR function, while also supporting Credit Officers with administrative tasks.

 

Roster:  Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours per day (including meal break)

7 Month - Parental Leave - Fixed Term Contract

 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Process and apply incoming payments to customer accounts in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain and update customer remittance information and payment profiles
  • Reconcile payment discrepancies and resolve unapplied or misapplied cash
  • Manage remittance processing in a semi-automated AI environment
  • Identify process improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with Credit Officers
  • Undertaking administrative tasks in the Credit team

 

 

Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable Officer or similar role
  • The ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • System savvy professional with a proven ability to quickly learn, adapt to, and optimise the use of various digital platforms and tools to enhance workflow efficiency and support business outcomes.
  • Well-developed numeric and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Unapplied cash and account reconciliation skills
  • Ability to meet tight timelines
  • Strong administrative task experience
