Plant Mechanic

Reporting into the Workshop Supervisor, the Plant Mechanic will join our Gudai Darri Branch on a Full Time Basis. This role involves supporting all Caterpillar products within the surrounding area through the Gudai Darri workshop.
The Gudai Darri branch is dedicated to providing top-tier machinery solutions and support that cater to the evolving needs of our customers and the mining industry. Our expert team is focused on delivering innovative, reliable, and efficient Caterpillar equipment to maximize productivity and ensure operational safety.
Roster options:
8/6 into 7/7 - 8 days on, 6 off into 7 nights on, 7 off
Location: Gudai Darri - FIFO
Skills & Experience:
- Australian recognised Heavy Mobile Plant Trade Certificate.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical problems effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining high safety standards
- Ability to work on various types of machinery and adapt to new technologies and methods
- CAT equipment experience is highly desirable
