Plant Mechanic | Grafton
WesTrac Grafton is seeking experienced plant mechanics to join their workshop or field service teams.
As a Plant Mechanic at WesTrac, you can expect to utilise your mechanical expertise to inspect, maintain, and repair a range of Caterpillar equipment. With the option to join as a field service mechanic, you will provide valuable service and breakdown solutions to customers throughout the region.
With a key focus on safety, you will work alongside a skilled team of technicians to ensure our customers get the most from their machines and ensure minimal machine downtime.
Roster and Remuneration
- Roster: Monday to Friday Day Shift
- Workshop 7:30am-4pm / Field Service 06:30am-17:00pm
- Hourly rates from $42.57 + super for workshop-based roles
*Rates above are a guide only, and each candidate will be assessed based on competencies and experience*
Skills & Experience
- Australia recognised Mechanical Trade qualification
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment or similar OEM
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
- Attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks to meet Caterpillar quality standards
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
