Plant Mechanic

Reporting into the Workshop Supervisor, the Plant Mechanic will join our Geraldton Branch on a Full Time Basis. This role involves supporting all Caterpillar products within the Midwest area through the Geraldton workshop.


Servicing customers in marine, power generation, agriculture, road transport and mining industries with a range of equipment from the smallest Skid steer to the largest face shovel, C2.2 engines up to 3600 gas engines in boats and power generation.

 

Roster options:

9/5 - 9 days on, 5 days off (10 hours each day plus 30 mins. break)
 

Location:  Residential to Geraldton (not FIFO).

 

Skills & Experience: 

  • Australian recognised Heavy Mobile Plant Trade Certificate.
  • Extensive diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
  • Previous field service experience working on Caterpillar products.
  • Strive to assist the Customer to achieve machine availability and reliability KPI’s.
  • Caterpillar equipment experience
