Reporting to the Parts Supervisor, this full-time role at our Geraldton branch involves handling customer orders and enquiries with a strong focus on customer service. You’ll also assist with warehouse tasks such as stock control, picking and packing, inventory checks, and keeping the workspace safe and organised. Because customer service is a key part of this role, we’re looking for someone with a positive, proactive attitude, keen attention to detail, and strong skills in quality and compliance. On-the-job training is provided so you’ll be fully supported in using the systems needed to process orders.

Roster: Monday - Friday 9.5 hours (including meal break) including a fortnightly Saturday

Location: Geraldton, WA - Residential position

 

What you’ll do:

· Interpret customer part requirements on a wide range of parts for Caterpillar machines

· Manage customer enquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, and emails with a strong focus on delivering a high-quality customer experience

· Support internal departments including the workshop, field service teams

- Support warehousing tasks including stock control, picking and packing, and inventory checks

· Escalate issues appropriately and ensure consistent communication to prevent delays or errors

· Maintain a proactive, dependable approach, demonstrating strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure

 

Skills and Interests:

· Comfortable with computers and able to learn new platforms or databases quickly

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills; proactive in supporting customer and stakeholder needs

· Enthusiastic about the machinery and mechanical field, eager to develop knowledge and skills

· Confident providing customer service through face-to-face, phone, and email interactions

· Accurate and detail-focused when sourcing and matching parts

· Organised and capable of multitasking effectively in fast-paced, high-volume settings
