Are you an experienced Plant or Field Service Mechanic who prides themselves on quality servicing? Our Westrac Dubbo branch is expanding and looking for qualified and experienced Field Service and Workshop Plant Mechanics to join the team. This opportunity will see you working alongside the best of the best and maintaining first class CAT machines. Heavy Diesel/Vehicle Mechanics, and/or Agricultural Mechanics looking to expand their field of knowledge are highly desirable and are encouraged to apply.

In this role, you will report to the Field Service and/or Workshop Supervisor and support our customers in the Western region of NSW by performing on-site maintenance and repairs on an extensive range of Caterpillar machinery.

 

Roster and Remuneration  

 

Field Service

  • Monday - Friday  DAY SHIFT ONLY
  • Shift Times - Day Shift: 07:00AM to 17:30PM
  • Hourly rates UP TO $57.17 P/HR + OT UP TO $85.76 P/HR + Field Service Ute
  • Annual earnings UP TO $150K + super
  • Delayed starts available!

 

Workshop

  • Monday - Friday – DAY SHIFT ONLY
  • Shift Times - Day Shift: 07:00AM to 17:30PM
  • Hourly rates FROM $43.64 P/HR + OT FROM $65.46 P/HR
  • Annual earnings UP TO $115K + super
  • Delayed starts available!

What we're looking for

  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Mechanical trade qualification with heavy industry experience.
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment or similar.
  • Maintenance and repair experience with mobile plant.
  • Diagnostic experience (SIS Desireable). 
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Unrestricted Drivers Licence (for field service roles).
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet Caterpillar quality standards
  • Team player with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
