About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Parts Supervisor to lead our parts operations team at Dubbo. This is a full‑time opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and understands the importance of accuracy, service excellence and teamwork in a parts and inventory setting.

Reporting to the Parts/Branch Manager, the Parts Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day parts operations, ensuring the timely and accurate supply of parts to internal teams and customers. Working closely with workshop, warehouse, and customer-facing teams, this role plays a crucial part in supporting operational performance and delivering exceptional service across the business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and support the Parts team to deliver high levels of performance and customer service.
  • Oversee daily parts operations including receipting, picking, packing, issuing and dispatch.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory control.
  • Ensure internal and external customer orders are processed accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate closely with workshop, service, and warehouse teams to meet operational needs.
  • Resolve supply issues, delays or discrepancies promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies and operational procedures.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives across parts operations.
  • Assist with onboarding, training and development of Parts team members.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience in a parts, inventory or warehouse operations environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational abilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and parts/inventory software.

Desirable

  • Experience within the heavy equipment, mining or automotive sectors.
  • Exposure to CAT parts systems, dealer processes or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, DBS, Pronto).
  • Forklift licence or warehousing-related certifications.
  • Knowledge of inventory control or supply chain processes.
