Field Service Plant Mechanic- Cadia
WesTrac Cadia is seeking a skilled Field Service Plant Mechanic to join their team!
Based at our customer site in Cadia, you’ll provide diagnostic support for both underground and opencut CAT equipment. Utilising your product knowledge and technical skills, you will ensure work is conducted to a high level with a safety-conscious mindset.
With customer satisfaction being a priority, you will ensure that all repairs, preventative maintenance and inspections meet CAT standards. With the opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of CAT equipment, this role is a great opportunity to kickstart your career with WesTrac today!
Roster and Remuneration
- Roster: 12.5-Hour Shifts, 7/7 (7 days on, 7 off, 7 nights on, 7 off)
- Shift Times: Day Shift 06:30AM to 19:00PM / Night Shift 18:30PM to 07:00AM
- Potential annual earning between $125k - $145k + Super

Skills & Experience
- Australia recognised Mechanical Trade qualification
- Previous mine site experience
- Unrestricted Drivers Licence
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment (desirable)
- Ability to work autonomously
- Solutions focused mindset and ability to adapt to changing requirements
- Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills with ability to manager work order notes
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
