Storeperson - Leading Hand

Reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor, the Store person – Leading Hand, will join our parts team on a Permanent Fulltime basis at our Bunbury location. This role involves assisting with overseeing a team, completing daily tasks such as picking and packing customer orders, Radio Frequency (RF) scanning, forklift operating and processing customer order data into the Warehouse Management Systems. There is an element of running various shifts whilst the Supervisor is unavailable.

WesTrac Bunbury provides adaptable Caterpillar solutions from Mandurah to Albany. Our technicians handle diverse machinery, offering services, rebuilds, deliveries, and overhauls.

 

Roster: Monday - Friday, 10.5 hours/ day (including meal break)

 

What You’ll Do:

  • General Warehousing Duties
  • Forklift Operation
  • Picking and Packing and processing customer order data
  • Stock checking and inventory control
  • Hose building
  • Process efficiency reviews
  • Inspection of remanufactured parts according to CAT criteria

 

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Forklift Licence and Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role will guide you to success
  • Positive attitude with great attention to detail
  • Computer literacy - inclusive of MS Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with SAP (Desirable)
  • Customer service experience (Desirable)
