Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the dedicated role of Storeperson Leading Hand will be responsible for assisting in overseeing a team, completing daily tasks such as picking and packing customer orders, Radio Frequency (RF) scanning, forklift operating and processing customer order data into the Warehouse Management Systems. There is an element of running various shifts whilst the Supervisor is unavailable.
Roster: Monday - Friday - 6am - 4.30pm (Inclusive 30min lunch break)
To be successful the following is required:
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Experience in a Team Leader style role or equivalent to
- Ability to quickly learn in-house software and IT systems
- Customer service skills – Previous experience liaising with customers and handling customer enquiries seen as advantageous
- Be well aligned and exhibit WesTrac’s core values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect and Customer
- Forklift Licence is essential
- Effective communication skills - both written and verbal
