Roster:

  • 5 days on / 2 days off
  • 10‑hour days
  • Be home every night

 

What You’ll Do: 

Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will deliver high‑quality diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and warranty support across a wide range of Caterpillar machinery. This customer‑facing role suits someone who enjoys working independently in remote environments and delivering exceptional service on the road.

  • Work with cutting‑edge Caterpillar technology and industry‑leading machinery
  • Enjoy independence, customer interaction, and diverse challenges
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain Cat® machinery on customer sites
  • Provide technical support, advice, and a great customer experience
  • Manage work orders and warranty tasks efficiently
  • Contribute to product improvement and support programs
  • Maintain strict safety standards and champion safe work practices

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Australian‑recognised Heavy‑Duty Trade Certificate with post‑trade experience
  • Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding capabilities
  • Ability to self‑manage and work without direct supervision
  • Demonstrated experience working in remote or isolated field environments
  • Dogging, Rigging & Forklift tickets (desirable)
  • LR Driver’s Licence (minimum)
  • Caterpillar product knowledge and field service experience highly regarded
  • Strong safety mindset and ability to support team coordination
