Join the team at WesTrac as a Plant Mechanic!

 

Working from our customer site at Bulga, this role will see you utilising your mechanical expertise to conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a range of CAT machines such as 793 Mining Trucks, D11 Dozers and M Series Motor Graders. With a key focus on safety, you will work alongside our team to ensure all work is completed to Caterpillar standards and customer needs are met.

 

This is an excellent pathway to Field Service positions.

 

Rosters & Remuneration

  • 4 On, 5 Off, 5 On, 4 Off, 5 On, 5 Off  
  • 48.5% of allowances applied to hourly rates
  • Site specific incentive schemes available
  • Potential earnings from $130,000 - $180,000

Skills & Experience 

  • Cert III Mobile Plant Qualification + Certificate of Proficiency
  • Experience working in both workshop and mine site environments
  • Strong Diagnostic and Repair skills and a commitment to meeting customer requirements
  • Familiarity with caterpillar equipment
