Due to continued growth, WesTrac is seeking experienced Agricultural Mechanics, Heavy Diesel Mechanics & Mobile Plant Mechanics to join our Bathurst Workshop!

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, a Mechanic role with WesTrac will see you completing maintenance, repairs, and complete overhauls on an array of CAT equipment from Wheel Tractor-Scrapers through to R3000 Series Loaders. This role will see you joining a high performing team that focuses on customer satisfaction, technician productivity, efficiency, and safety.

A Mechanic position with WesTrac will enable you to further develop your diagnostic skills and open the door to opportunities within our Field Service team.

 

Rosters & Remuneration

  • 5 Days On, 2 Days Off - 10.5 hour shifts
  • Overtime available
  • Potential earnings from $110,000 - $140,000

Skills & Experience

  • Mechanical trade qualification (Cert III Mobile plant preferred)
  • Caterpillar product knowledge
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements and providing service excellence
  • Dedication to maintaining safe work practices and environment
  • Experience with DBS & SIS is desirable
