About the role

WesTrac is looking for a skilled Resident Field Service Plant Mechanic to join our team in Deniliquin!

 

In this role, you’ll leverage your diagnostic expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and service a variety of Caterpillar equipment for our OEM customers. Our technicians enjoy a high degree of autonomy, delivering unparalleled service.

 

Reporting to the Albury Branch Manager, you’ll use your product knowledge and advanced diagnostic skills to provide top-tier support and solutions for service and breakdowns. Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and the effective deployment of CAT machinery in heavy industries.

Roster and Remuneration!

  • Monday – Friday (50-hour week)
  • Roster Pattern: 5D2O
  • Day Shift: 07:00AM to 17:30PM
  • From $120k + Super

Skills & Experience

  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
  • Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment
  • OEM Experience (highly desirable)
  • Exposure to SIS or ET (highly desirable)
  • Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure deliveries are made on time and to customer standard
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in the field and in a team
  • Current Licence
