About the role

We are currently seeking an energetic and results driven Parts Sales Coordinator to join our Parts Sales team at our Newcastle Branch located in Tomago for this permanent position.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders. You will be a highly motivated, efficient and proactive individual who thrives in a challenging fast paced role and is passionate about customer experience.

This is a pivotal role with ongoing training, support, and exposure to various areas within the business, with opportunities to develop a long-term career with a world leading dealership.

Key Responsibilities

You will be the first point of contact for all customers parts orders and aftermarket solutions.

  • Inbound order call management
  • Parts interpretation
  • Customer follow up enquiries
  • Dispute resolution
  • Data processing

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service role (preferably in a technical/industrial environment)
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills – MS Office and internet-based applications
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) with the ability to effectively liaise with customers and a diverse range of interdepartmental team members
  • Positive attitude and passion to deliver the best outcome for the customer every time
  • An aptitude and interest in technical/industrial products/services
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar processes or equipment would be highly regarded however not essential.
