WesTrac is looking at another hugely successful year in 2020 with upcoming major projects in the pipeline. As a result of this recent growth, we have a Permanent opportunity for a Toolstore Person to join our Welshpool Workshop.

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your roster will be 5 days on, 2 days off, 10.5 hour days (inclusive of a 30 minute meal break).

Job Duties:

  • Coordinating all parts & tooling requirements for the Rebuilds Department in Welshpool  
  • Working with Trades Assistants to distribute tooling to the workshop floor
  • Sorting, receiving & ordering stock
  • Liaising with external vendors to chase up orders
  • Ensuring credits, returns and reman items are managed efficiently
  • General stock & inventory management
  • Meeting customer delivery deadlines
  • Calibration of tooling
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Use of DBS & Scale Systems

To be successful the following is required:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar parts coordination and inventory management role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of inventory and supply chain warehouse and parts processes
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills - MS Office, warehouse systems and experience using a computer based inventory management system
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
  • High Risk Fork Lift ticket (desirable)
  • A dedicated attitude to following WesTrac Safety and Quality Policies
