TRADES ASSISTANT

About the role

An exciting newly created opportunity has become available for an experienced Trades Assistant to join our Canberra Branch for this full time permanent position, working Monday to Friday 10 hour shifts.

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor this role will assist mechanics and auto electricians, housekeeping, forklift operation and general TA duties.

Skills & Experience

• Mechanical TA experience
• Forklift & Dogging ticket – desirable
• Drivers Licence
• Attention to detail
• Previous exposure to heavy machinery – desirable
• Previous use of safety and risk assessment tools, such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5’s
