WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR – Glendell
About the role
WesTrac is seeking an experienced leader with the demonstrated ability to successfully motive and challenge their team.
Reporting to the MARC Manager this position will be responsible for supervising, supporting and managing a team and ensuring the quality of work is of the highest standard.
This is primarily a hands on role where you will ensure the workshop performance achieves business targets and compliance to Caterpillar, Customer and WesTrac requirements. Your strong supervisory skills will see you lead a team whilst providing technical support, along with ensuring safety and legislative requirements are adhered to.
This position will be based at our MARC site in Glendell working a Monday to Friday roster, 50 hour week.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a similar role
Mechanical trade qualification
Experience with CAT 793D & 789C Dump Trucks
Experience with PCR rebuilds
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements
Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and environment
Flexibility to work shift rosters and overtime
You will have a proactive approach to your work with demonstrated experience working in high performing teams and have a methodical approach to problem solving.
