WesTrac is currently seeking an experienced and team-oriented Hose assembler / Store person to join our team located in Kalgoorlie Branch.

This role is responsible for the effective operation of the Hose shop assisting the Parts and warehouse operations as required. You will be assembling new Caterpillar hoses using a XT Reusable and Flat bore permanent press for external and internal customers in addition to general warehouse duties, such as receiving and dispatching goods, stock control and providing a high level of customer service.

Roster: Working 5 days on – 2 days off Monday to Friday. 10 hours per day

Duties will include but are not limited to: 

• Assembling Hoses
• Rebuild hoses for Internal / External Customers
• Follow Caterpillar guidelines
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Maintain a safe work area
• Ensure Hose shop meets Caterpillar CC standards
• Monitor and Enter stocked builds into DBS
• Monitor and reorder consumable items for the Hose shop
• Previous experience in a busy warehouse environment 
• Dedicated attitude to safety

Desirable Criteria: 

• Previous experience building Caterpillar hoses.
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Current Forklift License
• Previous experience with Wave & Reach truck
