The Role

Reporting to the AHS Fleet Performance Manager, the AOF Coordinator is accountable for the successful coordination and operation of the Autonomous Operating Facility established by WesTrac. Ensuring teams and visitors using the facility gain a rewarding experience in a safe and managed environment.

The role will be based at the facility outside of Collie, working with both customers and WesTrac representatives to coordinate required works on site. Expectations of the role, but no limited to:

  • Assist the Learning and Development team with training requirements at the facility.
  • Develop and implement a facilities management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements, as well as conducting and documenting regular facilities inspections.
  • Develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure that all statutory compliance systems and occupational health and safety requirements are managed and fulfilled.
  • Manage the site operations such as cleaning, security, car parking, kitchen facilities, contract maintenance and waste management, and ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of long-term maintenance plans and replacement of facilities across the site.

The role may require some Perth time to assist in coordination of the facility and or interactions with other team members/peers/clients etc. The AOF Coordinator is expected to demonstrate commitment to WesTrac’s values.

About You

Experience and Knowledge

  • Good communications skills and the ability to liaise with key stakeholders, contractors, clients and team members and management.
  • Facility Management exposure with a minimum 3 years’ experience
  • Prove ability to manage internal/external customer relationships
  • Advanced computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management programs such as MS Project etc.)
  • An understanding of HSEQ Management Systems; Quality Management System ISO 9001; Environmental Management System ISO 14001; OHSAS 18001 and auditing requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge and application of relevant State Legislation
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to effectively resolve issues in the workplace
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives
