About the role
A rare opportunity exists for a motivated individual, passionate about making positive changes to join our HR team focussed on bettering our business and working on projects and initiatives. Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, the position is responsible for ensuring our initiatives add value to our business by way of assessing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. This position will be based at our state of the art purpose-built facility in Tomago, Newcastle.
About you
You are motivated, driven and passionate about making positive contributions to your workplace. You meet deadlines set and are comfortable working on projects from start to finish. You have a tertiary qualification and have worked for 1 to 2 years in a HR position.
The essential criteria required to apply for this role include:
Tertiary qualification within the field of Human Resources or equivalent discipline such as Business, Psychology or Law
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to effectively coordinate and assess business initiatives, make recommendations, manage change and implement initiatives
Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with key stakeholders
Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
Project Management experience to manage dedicated projects and deliver on agreed time frames
