Reporting to the Contract Manager, the Supervisor is accountable for the management of the MARC site's day-to-day activities in accordance with the MARC agreement, ensuring procedural and policy compliance to meet the MARC agreement and minimum standards of store performance is maintained at all times.
The Supervisor provides leadership to the team members within their allocated area to ensure safety, quality and efficiency are of the highest standard resulting in exceptional customer satisfaction.
This role will be on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, working 12 hour days.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Ensure company safety procedures, safe working practices and Life Saving Rules are strictly followed, with the aim of reducing TRIFR to zero.
Ensure comprehensive understanding of CSA agreement obligations and all associated areas of accountability as they apply to the specific site, including:
Fleet performance and reliability targets
Store financial performance
On site personnel management
Customer liaison and satisfaction
Oversee warranty claim management to ensure correct identification and administration of all warranty work on-site.
Ensure contractual reconciliations are performed and dealt with as per the Quarterly attestation schedule.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders (e.g. customer).
The successful candidate will have;
An Australian recognised trade qualified certificate (Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanic or Auto Electrician) with a minimum 5 years' post qualification experience.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with experience in training and mentoring.
Basic understanding of financial principles including working to set budgets.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships.
Highly developed attention to detail.
Demonstrate strong safety values.
Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet objectives.
Desirable:
Caterpillar dealer experience working in maintenance and repair contracts
Green Belt CPS/Lean/6 Sigma qualified
Certificate IV Frontline Management or Diploma of Management
Elevated Work Platform
Dogging & Basic Rigging
Working at Heights & Confined Spaces
