Branch Coordinator – Cobar

About the role

The Branch Coordinator is accountable for the ‘ownership of the customer experience’ provided by the branch to ensure effective management of all matters between the customer and the branch – including the safety and management of the branch team members, customer service and support provisions, branch performance, invoice management and ensuring quality assurance and continuous improvement requirements are adhered to as per WesTrac policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate departmental objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to team members to ensure they are aware of and have an understanding of expectations and their contribution to achieve the objectives
  • Ensure company safety procedures, safe working practices and Life Saving Rules are strictly followed, with the aim of reducing lost time incidents to zero
  • Represent WesTrac as the single point of contact for the customer and act as the coordinator between the technicians regarding any request for service, repairs and other general queries

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated people management experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing sales and marketing strategies to drive sales and increase profit
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills and ability to engage with key stakeholders
  • Strong technical knowledge of Caterpillar or similar heavy mobile equipment
  • Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite) with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines
