A rare opportunity is available to work for WesTrac, one of the largest authorised Caterpillar dealers in the world, as a Technical Representative within our Technical Services Department.
As the Technical Representative, you'll be responsible for managing all mechanical service issues, machine operation and overall equipment performance on a range of Caterpillar Equipment. You’ll be required to carry out analysis & provide recommendations and guidance around maintenance processes, repairs and improvements.
This role is based in South Guildford working a 5:2 roster, 8 hours per day with a minimal amount of regional & metro site travel.
Essential Criteria:
HD Mechanical Trade qualification
Sound knowledge across a range of CAT products
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with diagnostic tools
Failure analysis skills
High level of communication & customer service skills
Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
High attention to detail with the ability to identify continuous improvement
Desirable Criteria:
Hydraulic Mining Machine experience
