About the role
 
Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to carrying out warranty and repairs on a diverse range of Cat machinery and associated products in a timely and efficient manner based on a range of customer sites in the Newman area, you have access to the latest training and technical knowledge relating to the CAT product.

12 hour shifts with the below rosters available

 8/6 or 7/7 or 2/1 or 2/2 Dayshift only

Your responsibilities will also include;

     • Maintaining safe work practices and a safe work environment
     • Manage work orders including ordering parts as required
     • Carrying out Caterpillar product improvement plans and product support program
     • Deliver first class customer service

About you

The role will require you to have;

• Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Trade Qualification
• Current C Class Licence (HR Preferred)
• Previous experience with mining equipment essential
• Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience
• Previous use of safety and risk assessment tools, such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's
• Ability to work successfully within a team, autonomously and unsupervised
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 It is desirable for you to have;

• Current Forklift Licence
• Elevated Work Platform
• Dogging & Basic Rigging
• Working at Heights, Confined Spaces
• Familiarity with service literature
