We have an exciting opportunity a FIFO Plant Mechanic, flying into Murrin Murrin. Working 2 weeks on, 1 week off, 12.5 hours per day (inclusive of a 30 minute meal break).
You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, engaging and working closely with major Westrac internal and external customers, establishing their part requirements and identifying flexible solutions to meet their needs.
With your excellent customer service and outstanding organisational skills, you will be responsible for managing the internal logistics issues and providing solutions in a safe working environment.
The principle functions of this role is to ensure that daily stock order reports are processed, stock transfers are released for branch replenishment, external supplier orders are conducted and customer backorders are facilitated, ordered and expedited.
Murrin Murrin is a Nickel Laterite Deposit site situated approximately 60km east of Leonora within the north east Yilgarn Craton of Western Australia. Reporting to the Contract Supervisor, this role will require the successful candidate to carry out repairs, maintenance and servicing on a range of Caterpillar and Expanded Mining Product Equipment
You will be required to carry out repair, maintenance and servicing on a range of Caterpillar equipment in a field diagnosis and repair environment. You will also be required to complete warranty repair work and reports and manage work orders.

- 785C, 992G,777D
- 16H, 844 , D10R
- 950H, 773E
The role will require you to have
- Australian recognized heavy diesel qualification
- Previous Caterpillar experience
- Ability to work completely unsupervised
- Sound fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Working at heights licence
